This Actor Replaced Sanjay Dutt In ‘Total Dhamaal’

The third film from the ‘Dhamaal’ series in on cards. Titled as ‘Total Dhamaal’, the flick is unlikely to feature actor Sanjay Dutt. In fact, there are reports that he has quit the film due to some “adult comedy” content.

However, filmmaker Indra Kumar feels that the film is a family entertainer. After Sanjay left the film, actor Ajay Devgn was approached for the same role. Indra Kumar told Mumbai Mirror, “Ajay, my partner Ashok Thakeria, and I have had a fabulous association. Ishq is still one of the most successful comedy films in Bollywood and here we are, 20 years later, with another family entertainer. The Dhamaal franchise has a strong fan following. Ajay’s association makes it even more special.”

A source close to the actor confirmed the reports and said, “Ajay is glad to reunite with Indra for ‘Total Dhamaal‘.”
