CBFC Chief Pahlaj Nihalani Says, ‘Akshay's ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ Should Be Made Tax-Free’

Pahlaj Nihalani, Chief of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), watched the trailer of Akshay's upsoming film ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and took to Twitter to laud it.
He also put forward his desire of making the film tax-free. He tweeted, "Watched trailer of @akshaykumar's #ToiletEkPremKatha. Based on true incidents, it promotes #SwachhBharat.Should be made #TaxFree. #SuperHit!"
The film revolves around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Therefore, Nihalani felt that the film should be made tax-free. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ features Bhumi Pednekar as the lead lady. The film is slated for release on August 11, 2017, while the trailer will be out on June 11, 2017.
